After successfully running two pilot plants at Queen’s University Belfast Seren Technologies opened its rare earth magnet recycling demonstration plant on the 3rd December 2018 at the Wilton Centre in the North of England.

Oleocycle is based at the Wilton Centre in Teesside. Oleocycle’s core technology converts waste cooking oils into mixtures of low-sulphur biodiesel feed and oleochemicals, primarily purified fatty acids and alcohols. In 2017 Oleocycle started taking multiple ton used cooking oil samples from prospective suppliers across the UK and Ireland and is currently engaging with several European biodiesel refiners and the oleochemicals industry in Europe and Asia.
